Arctic Foods and Traditional Storage

An article in the Anchorage Daily News today talked about how many of the cellars dug in the permafrost which have stored the whale meat and other traditional Native foods are beginning to have problems with thawing and melting.

Also, a short documentary about Inuit foods. It was filmed in the Canadian Arctic, but Alaska Native Inuit people eat the same types of foods.
